Chinney was appointed as the main contractor for the construction of the Conference Lodge located atop the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) main campus.

Conference Lodge is the most upscale accommodation option for university visitors and guests. With a 180-degree unobstructed panoramic sea view, Conference Lodge offers 130 guestrooms over 6 floors, and features a 118-seat causal restaurant and bar, “UniQue”, which comprises of al fresco dining facilities, three private meeting/dining rooms, as well as a rooftop terrace for private events.

All interior and exterior, fitting out, built-in furniture and MEP installation works were undertaken by Chinney.
