The Main Contract for Package 2B of University Street for the University of Hong Kong was awarded to Chinney. Designed by Wong & Ouyang (HK) Ltd, the University Street is a two-level covered walkway linking up the existing Haking Wong Building, the new Centennial Campus and Exit A of HKU MTR station at two levels.

The Works also involves the re-provision of HKUSU Cafeteria and podium garden of Haking Wong Building.

As the University was operated as usual over the construction period, we have implemented strict noise and dust control to minimise the nuisance caused, and up-held the public safety at extremely high standard. Multiple interfaces with other contractors working on the same site posed a challenge and demanded intensive interface management on site.
